Where to find The missing peace?

I was buying a new bible yesterday. The one I have had for the past eight years was worn out! I tried to glue the back of the book because the cover was falling apart. I have read and studied and underlined throughout the entire book. It was time to buy a new one. The old one was a New King James Bible, the new one is a King James Bible – an older translation.

So I went to have a coffee at the store and to relax with my new investment. Other people were also sitting by other tables having coffee and reading their books except for one person who was walking restless around by the shelves. I notice how this person had no rest or peace in his mind. You know the feeling?

People were looking like their security were disturbed by this persons behavior. I was sitting there and studied how people raised their eyebrows when they saw this man. No one said anything and I noticed how people first looked very surprised when they noticed the man, then looked away not to give the man any attention when they walked by.

The man could be in his late twenties with a sagging shorts and with tattoos. The man carried a bag. After much restless walking back and forth the man sat down by a nearby table. He put music on the speaker on his cell phone, he had a big black pen he did some writings on his bag. People turned to see where the heavy metal music came from.

I don’t know what that man was going trough, but I could sense there was some kind of difficulty. I could sense the restlessness and that something was not right. And there I was sitting with my new bible with all the promises from God… if people only knew … if they would wipe the dust off this book and begin to read.. the words are living words who bring supernatural peace to heart and mind…. but so few will listen these days…

Jeremiah 29:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

John 14:27 King James Version (KJV)
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
