I feel very blessed these days knowing that the Lord answered my prayers. This is the story:

My teen son have had a desire for drinking quite a lot of coca cola the last year. I tried everything to get him to stop and awaken him for the health risk. My teen son seems to be in a good condition with a normal weight. But the desire for drinking coca cola concerned me greatly and nothing could change his desire for having his daily cola. As we all know it’s not good for your body to consume a lot of sugar. When I told my son repeatedly he reacted with anger and his respond to not care.

Well, I stopped complaining and turned to the Lord in prayer. “Lord please set my son free from the desire to drink coca cola, I give him to you”, realizing my failure to make my son stop drinking coca cola.

A couple of weeks ago the amazing thing happened. My son began to talk about the health risk of drinking coca cola and consuming a lot of sugar. He asked me to bring him to the store to buy green tea and fruits.

From that day he has established a routine of eating different fruits in a bowl each morning. He is drinking green tea with mint and different flavors mostly green tea with no sugar added. He has not had a headache after he changed his diet which often happened earlier when he tried to cut down on coca cola, knowing that sugar can be very addictive as well as caffeine. He is drinking green tea which contains caffeine so that could be the reason for not having any headache so far?

I am very happy for this change knowing that I can thank the Lord for the intervention. Thank you Jesus, you are the best.

My son even asks me to pray the Fathers prayer with him before he goes to bed. It can only be the Lord. Prayers works.

Psalm 34:8 “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
