A poem in my mystery language translated from Yoruba to English 1/28/2020:
I was not aware of the situation.
How to get there.
Do not give up.
Do not be afraid to take action.
I stand at the top of a mountain.
You want to keep your head up.
Then you can see it again.
I would like to show you a flower garden.
Hold on to my breath.
You’ll come to me.
Show me a friend.
I do not want to be alone.
I am with you.
Keep calm and stay close to me.
Song of Solomon 4:16
The Shulamite
16 Awake, O north wind,
And come, O south!
Blow upon my garden,
That its spices may flow out.
Let my beloved come to his garden
And eat its pleasant fruits.
Song of Solomon 6:2
The Shulamite
2 My beloved has gone to his garden,
To the beds of spices,
To feed his flock in the gardens,
And to gather lilies.
Luke 13:
The Parable of the Mustard Seed
18 Then He said, “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? 19 It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and put in his garden; and it grew and became a large tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.”
